During the fall, winter and spring months, Captain Nita offers an eco tour you will never forget. The beautiful Silver River is a state preserve which flows from the head spring at the Silver Springs attraction. When the fall leaves change colors, it is absolutely stunning. This relaxing cruise gives the passenger a fantastic opportunity to see all kinds of wildlife from alligators, ducks, birds, manatees and even monkeys.

  • Silver River trips last about 3.5 - 4 hours
  • bring up to six passengers
  • meet at the Ray Wayside Park just off of route 40, and just west of the high bridge over the Ocklawaha River
  • $10 fee for parking in the park
  • offered October through May 

 

What you need to bring:

  • weather-appropriate clothing
  • hat, cap or head cover
  • sunglasses (polarized lens enhance the view!)
  • sunscreen (30 SPF+ is recommended)
  • food, beverage
  • camera (waterproof is ideal)

$100 deposit is required for a confirmed booked date and nonrefundable. Remaining balance is due at trip’s end. Cash, credit card, personal or corporate checks are accepted for payment.

Gratuities for the captain is not included in the fees, yet are very much appreciated.
