ALL ABOUT THE CAPTAIN

An Outdoor Lifetime Lover of the Water

Captain Nita has spent most of her years on the water, having started fishing at age 5.

At age 6, she experienced her first scalloping adventure and has gone every year since.

With a passion for saltwater fishing from a very young age, Captain Nita knows how to put you on the fish.

Captain Nita Chester

Throughout her life, Captain Nita has always loved being on the water. When asked by her ex-husband, "I think you love that boat more than me..." She replied, "Is that gonna be a problem?" That's why there's an ex before husband.

If you are looking for quiet, subdued captain, swipe left. Captain Nita loves taking her passengers on fun-filled excursions. She does her best to put you on fish, gets in the water and helps you find the scallops and points out all of the interesting things about the area. If she doesn't know the exact answer to your question – rest assured, you will still get an answer.

Many people say, "Man, I'd love to own a boat." But most change their minds after the first year. With Captain Nita you will enjoy your day of boating, fishing, and scalloping without the expense of owning and maintaining your own boat. If you would like a multiple day charter where Captain Nita brings the boat to you – check out BYOB.

She ensures your safety. She’s licensed by the US Coast Guard and is fully insured. Captain Nita is also CPR and first aid-certified. Her boat is a 24-foot 2005 Action Craft Coast Bay boat, powered by a 200 horsepower, two-stroke Yamaha motor. This boat is super comfortable and fun to ride. More about the boat.

In case of inclement weather, Captain Nita determines if and when the charter will go as planned, based on weather and radar reports.

Thank you for your interest. We hope to hear from you, and we are happy to answer your questions!
